The vineyards of the Champagne region spread out as you travel along
country roads to the historic Castle of the Princes of Conde, where you
can admire the magnificent paintings of Oudry and Watteau. In the late
morning visit a vineyard near Epernay and see the cellars, wine press,
and fermentation room then rounded off with a glass of the vineyard’s
champagne.
Then lunch, at Cumières, in a restaurant entirely cut in chalk.

of Champagne making from grape picking to bottling (a cup of Champagne
offered). Stopover in the centre of Reims for a short visit of the
Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France came to be
crowned. Entrance tickets included.
