After a drive through the Beauce, we arrive in Chartres for a guided
tour of the cathedral. This masterpiece of gothic art is a UNESCO
listed «World Heritage».
The 12th and 13th century stained-glass windows constitute the largest
collection in France. You will be able to admire the famous «Chartres
Blue».
Today, the cathedral is still a major spiritual centre for Christians and there are many pilgrims.
Free time for a walk in the old city before returning to Paris.
