Lunch
We suggest you start your day in Versailles with a guided morning visit
of the Royal Apartments. This will be followed by a walk around the
Palace’s park, passing through some of the “Groves” (summer) or a horse
carriage ride (winter). Lunch is taken in the restaurant “la Flottille”
which faces the Grand Canal.
The afternoon will continue with a guided visit of the Trianon (vast
mansion-style lodges where Louis XV and Louis XVI liked to work and
retire from court life) and a discovery tour of Queen’s hamlet (where
from 1783 Marie Antoinette played as a shepherdess).
